McGuire Lake Park is one of the most photographed sites in Salmon Arm. Shuswap Lake Hospital sits on the shores of this beautiful lake with its fountain and large trees overhanging the shores.This is a superb place to view birds, turtles and other small wildlife.There is a paved walkway around the lake with benches and picnic tables on the large grassed area.
 

  
The timberframed Japanese friendship gate located on the grounds is a popular site for weddings. The small lake freezes over in the winter and becomes a community skating rink
 
  
Marine Peace Park is located at the wharf on the shores of Shuswap lake. The park is the site of WOW (Wednesday on the wharf) a wonderful community attraction. This site is also a great location for weddings. The Raven Trail connects Marine Park to the Raven subdivision along the scenic Salmon Arm Bay waterfront.
This 4km trail is a popular venue for walking, cycling, nature walks, bird watching and fun runs.
  
Fletcher Park is located in the heart of Salmon Arm adjacent to the new City Hall and Law Courts.
The newly redesigned family friendly park, officially opened in July 2007. The three plus acres of beautifully landscaped park includes a toddler's playground and play equipment for older children. The central attraction is the Rotary water splash park.There are picnic tables, benches, grassy areas and and brand new washrooms.
  
Blackburn Park located adjacent to the fair grounds is ideal for tournaments. There are three ball diamonds and two soccer fields and a new skateboard park built in 2007.
  
Canoe Beach is the only public beach within the city of Salmon Arm. It is a large sandy beach that has washrooms, roped swim area, a concession, group shelter, beach volleyball court and a nearby boat launch. Great for large gatherings or a place to relax away the hot summer days. 
  
Neighbourhood parks include Coyote Park, Little Mountain Park, John Lund Park, Raven Park and Peter Jannick Nature Park. These parks located throughout Salmon Arm offer hiking trails, bird watching, shelters and playgrounds.
